Birthdays, Anniversary and Lots Of Christmas Parties!!

December is a BUSY month for us..we have our anniversary on the 8Th, Coles birthday on the 9Th, my birthday on the 22 and then we always head to Arizona for Christmas. My stress level is just a little high right now to say the least! Here's a run down of what we have checked off the list..Our annual women's Christmas party for church that I'm on the team for is done as of the 4Th, our 5Th anniversary came and past (throw in a beautiful sweater from Anthropologie and a trip to New York in May), Coles 7Th birthday the day after our anniversary..we opened presents and went to dinner..he finally got his drum set! Friday the 11Th we took the boys and 2 friends to the Family Fun Center in Tukwila for a night of games and rides to celebrate Coles birthday..they had a blast! The 12Th we had Kyles work kids Christmas party..Santa made a guest appearance and brought gifts for the kids, that evening we went to a very eventful UFC party at one of Kyles coworkers house. The 13Th was Kyles work Christmas party at the Hub in Tacoma..we won the grand prize of the night..a Wii!!! Now that all of that is done I'm trying to finish headbands and clips to take to Arizona, pack, do laundry, wrap gifts and finish all the last minute things around here before we leave on Thursday for Arizona. HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY TO OUR SWEET COLEMAN!!

I could have sworn all I did was blink and my baby went from newborn to 7 in a instant! When I think of Cole my heart softens immediately and a smile appears on my face. Colemans personality is very tender hearted, he loves others with ease. We call him our sensitive boy..but we mean that in a good way. His compassionate heart is very rare in a boy his age. He always wants to make others happy either by compliments, helping or giving away his toys to friends. When I dropped him off at school today his teacher told me, he is such a sweet boy and gives such mature compliments to his friends in class! It brings tears to my eyes when I hear things like that. Cole loves the Lord and LOVES to sing worship songs, I can see him becoming a great worship leader one day! I have been very encouraged to see him working hard at school and on his self control this year. This is his first year at public school so everything is new to him, including "NEW" words he has picked up and brought home only to learn quickly (with a little help from some soap) that we do not approve of those words! Cole keeps us laughing with his knock knock jokes, his spurts of spaz dancing and his funny one liners! He loves his brother even when Cade beats him up, he misses his cousin Hanna often and when he is with her they are inseparable. He loves his daddy and is starting to become a little more of a daddy's boy but I think I can coax him back to my side ;) When I asked Cole this morning what would make his birthday the best, he told me having his Gigi and Papa here..thankfully we will see them in just a week! My prayer for Cole on his birthday is that he will know God and love Him with all his heart and He will use him for his glory! Mommy and Daddy love you! Your our precious gift from God.

Oh Yeah..We Are Celebrating Our 5 Year in NEW YORK!!!

Dear Kyle, I can't ever thank you enough for all you do to love, serve, help, and pray for me.
The scope of all that could be written when I think of how God put Kyle and I together..is well, still to long to write. What an incredible 5 years its been. We have had our ups and downs but have always stuck true to praising God through the amazing highs that the lows were recoverable through the Grace of God. Without the Lords strength and our trust in him the foundation of our marriage would not be as solid as it is today. To see how Kyle has changed in the past 5 years with his relationship with Christ is unbelievable. To see God minister to me through him and to see his humility and desire to know God like never before, floors me!!! I have always loved Kyle but the man he has become..well, I cant even come close to expressing the love and wonderment I feel for him now. We had the best year ever this last year and I pray for many, many more to come!
There's a million things I'm thankful for with Kyle but it would take days to write them all down. So I will share some of the most important qualities to me kyle possesses and demonstrates.

-His love for the Lord
-His love and passion for me
-His desire to pray, love and play with Cole and Cade
-His forgiveness
-His amazing work ethic
-His trust
-His standing firm in what he believes
-His never ending compliments to me

P.S. This might be a bit to much TMI but its too funny to pass up.... Kyle came in the bathroom this morning and asked me if I remembered jumping up and turning off the clock alarm early this morning. I thought I remembered doing that and then later thought about how I never turned it on the night before. Well Kyle proceeded to tell me that the alarm had NOT gone off, that he had let out a HUGE stinker and I jumped up out of my sleep and slammed my hand on the alarm thinking it was going off. Yes that's my awesome husband for you...!

Wrestling With Pig's

Well those dang pigs got one of us! Our sweet little Cader's was diagnosed with the Swine Flu yesterday. I keep asking him if he was wrestling with pigs lately, he says no but I think otherwise! Poor guy has run a fever for 5 days now and has a cough like a 3 pack a day smoker. He is living on juice, water and chips...yes I hate to admit it but that is all he will eat. Trust me I know what you are thinking, how can he get better on chips? He probably cant but its the ONLY thing he wants to eat (yes we have tried EVERYTHING) so we would rather him have something then nothing at all! Just to give all of you a example of how sick he is, he only took one bite the other evening of a cupcake (BIG GASP) and said he didn't want anymore:( WHOA hold those horses..he just walked in the room as I'm writing this and asked for some cheese!! Yippee something a little more nutritional, could there be a end in sight now?!! I sure hope so! I have already cleaned my kitchen floor at 7 this morning from a sneeze that was not covered and I have the luxury of getting my face spritzed with saliva about every ten minutes from Cade's coughs! The life of a stay at home mom!! Hey, we are making some memories! So..if I could ask of you to do one thing for us..could you please take a moment to send a prayer Cades way for a quick recovery and maybe throw one in there that I make it through this week without going to crazy ;)

Just For Some Giggles

Today when we were driving home from church Kyle was on the phone talking to his brother about the new car he had purchased. In the midst of his conversation (that usually includes all of us butting in) about the car, Kyle mentioned that I wanted the new Honda Pilot. I then butted in and announced "Nooo I want a suburban"..how could he forget that?! (rolling of eyes). Cole then decided to "butt in" (where does he get that from?) and shout out.."I want a Monster Truck, YEAH a Scooby Doo one, (big shout) HALLELUJAH BABY"!!!! I have to say its awesome to have a child that is so passionate with his wants, but really? a scooby doo monster truck is what you want your mommy to be driving around in? I could of sworn he has learned along the way that mommy would look best in a Mercedes!!! Looks like I have some teaching to do!

So I decided to blow the dust off my blogspot and give it some love!

So so much has happened in the last 4 months but it would take me 3 hours of writing to fill you in..here is 3 hours of writing in a nutshell..The Lord has blessed us with his compassion of love and strength to get us through a very rough season of health issues the last 4 months. I'm grateful for my amazing husband, wonderful kids, loving family and supportive friends and I would have none of that without my Lord and Savior! We are excited for our upcoming events..Our 5 year anniversary, Cole turning 7, my 30th bday (not so excited) and Christmas in Arizona!! We Are Still Alive!!

Sorry, I know I have neglected my blog BIG TIME!! I just got a new computer and we have to transfer all our pictures over to it. Once that is done (who knows when) I will pick back up and blog again! Quick note, the boys are great and loving school, Kyle is home and we are all loving that and Im starting to feel a little better and there has been some good progression in the healing of my eye!
